Sources told ESPN that A.J. Brown will be activated from injured reserve for the game against the 49ers.
On Monday, Brown was placed on injured reserve and was able to return to practice this week. Brown was placed on injured reserve after he was hurt in the Texans game. Tennessee has a 1-2 record without Brown.
Ryan Tannehill is very happy that Brown is back on the field.
Tannehill said that his ability to make plays was the most important thing. He has done a lot for us over the last few years and we have a lot of confidence in him. Some of the plays he has made have been amazing. It would be huge to have that ability on the field.
Brown leads the team in yards and catches and has played 10 games for the team. Brown's three touchdown catches ties him with MyCole and Nick for the team lead.
The left tackle position was going to be filled by Taylor Lewan, but he will not be with the team. Lamm tested positive for the disease.
