Giving someone a haircut without the help of gravity is much harder than you might think. The thought of being surrounded by hair clippings is awful.
Needless to say, astronauts try. They won't be winning any awards, even though the haircuts might be able to keep the hair out of their faces.
The current International Space Station crew member posted a video of himself getting a haircut at the space salon where Raja Chari is a barber. Our hair clippers come with a vacuum attached because we don't want hair in our eyes or systems.
