The SEC co-freshman of the year in 2020 is entering the college football transfer portal.

The school said that he did not appear in the bowl due to a leg injury. Brady Cook was the starter in the loss to Army.

"This has been a tough decision that I have been thinking about for the last few weeks, but I wanted to be available for my team one last time in the bowl game," he wrote. After much prayer and discussion with my family, I have decided to enter the transfer portal to continue my academic and athletic career.

Two years of eligibility remain for Bazelak, who appeared in 11 games this season. He completed 65.3% of his passes for 2,548 yards.

A year ago, during Eli Drinkwitz's first season at Missouri, the coach's freshman of the year was Bazelak, who threw seven touchdown and averaged 236.6 passing yards per game.

In two seasons at Missouri, the Dayton, Ohio, native threw for 5,058 yards with 25 total touchdown and two rushing.

He said that it has been a wild three seasons at the ZOU.
