Apart from an instantly recognizable style, New Balance's archival silhouettes are also known for artisanal craftsmanship and premium materials. Now, NB is taking that high-quality ethos a step further with a new "Elite Gent" pack that consists of two made-in-England classics: a New Balance 991 and a New Balance 1500.

The 991 offers a buttery brown upper, presenting leathers both smooth and pebbled for a tonal-yet-textured contrast. Pops of flair are provided by small red hits on the eyestays and heel badge plus high-vis reflective material on the midfoot logo, throat and heel. A two-tone ABZORB foam midsole ensures comfort, while "Made In England" and "Elite Gent" are both embroidered on the tongue.

Meanwhile, the 1500 cranks up the contrast, using a dark, rich and stately cocoa brown leather on its upper. Things are then lighted up a bit by peanut butter brown and eggshell white accents. Much like the 991, red branded hits and an ABZORB midsole offer flair and feel, while the tongue equips the same embroidered text as its counterpart for a consistent look.

Sitting perfectly in between old-school runners, dad shoes, and hard-wearing casual footwear, the New Balance "Elite Gent" pack will release at retailers like 43einhalb this fall. The 991's ticket is set at €190 EUR (approx. $212 USD), while the 1500 is priced at €170 EUR (approx. $190 USD).
