H.S. Football Prospect Robbie Roper Dead At 18 After Complications From Surgery



A star high school quarterback from the class of 2022 died on Wednesday after having surgery.

He was young.

Roper's family made the devastating announcement on the social networking site. Just passed by.

He was the most important person in our family. We are proud of the young man.

He will be missed by his friends and family.

Chris Prewett, the football coach at Roswell High School, told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Roper was in the hospital on Sunday after having a surgery.

Coach Prewett said that "Robbie fought hard and battled until the very end like he did everything else."

The Florida Gators were informed of the terrible news when Roper received several college offers.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the Roper family during this difficult time," the Florida team said.

Roper was a great student and earned a 3.9 grade point average.
