Several Apple Stores in the US and Canada have closed in the last couple of weeks due to rising infections among staff members, and a report by Bloomberg lists seven locations in the US and Canada that have shut down operations within the last day or so. Dadeland and The Gardens Mall in Florida are one of the Apple Stores listed.

When 10 percent of the store's staff has tested positive, shutdowns are usually called. The CDC reports that omicron has become the dominant strain of the virus in the US. Apple has responded to the changing conditions by reinstating its mask policy and delaying plans to resume office work for all of its workers.

9to5Mac points out that Apple has begun promoting two-hour delivery in most metro areas for free. It is convenient for anyone on a last-minute gift mission, but it could also help reduce crowds inside of stores during the shopping rush by running through noon on Christmas Eve. Next-day delivery for many items is one of the options.
