The TVs are back after being temporarily halted due to sluggish TVs, buggy software and other issues. Rachelle Parks said that recent software updates have allowed them to make improvements to the stability and speed of the TVs. This product now represents the powerful performance that the two companies believe is the future of TV.

The company is best known for its popular sets that come pre-installed with Roku software, but it has also manufactured Android TV products. The company's first TVs with the newer Google TV interface, the 6-Series and 5-Series, are the ones that early buyers complained of slow performance and some significant bugs.

I can report that the 6-Series unit I was reviewing just received another software update, and it seems to be the version that the company thinks is up to snuff for customers.

The 6-Series Google TV has better hardware than the Roku TV version, for instance, with full HDMI 2.1 support for 4K gaming at 120Hz.

We will have a full review soon after the sale of the premium Google TVs by TCL.

Below is the full statement from TCL.
