Thanks to delays caused by COVID-19, it looks longer than expected, but the entire NFL has completed 15 weeks of action.

Every team in the league has at least 14 games left in the regular season. Only a few teams have been eliminated from playoff contention.
The longest week of the football season is the 15th week of the campaign.

It feels as though this has been a long time coming, especially with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs and the Packers. The Packers and Chiefs haven't met in a Super Bowl since 1967, when they played in the first-ever version of the World Championship Game.
Is that going to change?
For the first time this season, the Packers and the Chiefs have sole possession of the top spots in their conferences. Kansas City has won seven games in a row. The Packers have scored more than 30 points in four of their last five outings.
Both teams have struggled this year, but Rodgers is the favorite to win the league's Most Valuable Player award. It would be hard to bet against them, especially with their competitors struggling.
The first-round bye helps a lot. Both the Packers and the Chiefs had byes on wild-card weekend in the past, but Green Bay didn't meet up with K.C. at the Super Bowl.
Will the third time be a charm? Both teams will have to finish strong. The Packers have the Vikings, Vikings, Vikings, Lions, and the Broncos.

The league's wildest division was almost a three-way tie, with the Pittsburgh Steelers just half a game back thanks to their tie with the Detroit Lions. The Cleveland Browns fell to the Raiders on Monday night, leaving the Cincinnati and Baltimore tied atop the North.
The entire group is separated by one game. The shenanigans are far from over. In the 16th and 17th weeks, the Ravens play the Cincinnati Reds and the Ravens play the Cleveland Indians.

All of it, appointment viewing.
The Ravens were beaten by the Bengals in October. The best divisional record among the four is held by the Ravens, but the other two are in control of their own fate. Whoever wins this division is likely to win the whole thing. If nobody wins, it will become super-chaotic.

The fact that it might be all for one playoff spot makes the race evenwilder.
The Ravens, Steelers, and Browns are not in the picture for the playoffs because the Colts, Bills, and Chargers are all 8-6.
Baltimore lost three games in a row and is now 5-5 in the conference. The Bills are 5-5 against opponents from the other conference, so they have a tie with the Ravens. The Colts, who are 7-3 in the conference, could easily finish the season with a trio of victories against the struggling Raiders, the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars and the struggling Cards. The team with the best record in the conference won't be playing the team with the best record this season.
It'll be difficult for the Ravens and the Steelers because of that tie with Detroit. The two well-known teams might end up beating each other up so much that they miss out on the playoffs for the second time this century.

It was good news for the Packers that they lost on Sunday, but America's Team was also a beneficiary.
The Cowboys have won three games in a row to move up in the conference. They used to be in line for a first-round bye. They have to leapfrog Green Bay and hold off the other teams in order to get into the playoffs.
That would be a dream for Dallas fans. It can't be completely ruled out. The Cowboys have a better points differential than the Packers, and their closing schedule isn't too fierce.
The Packers have already lost to a Vikings team that will be desperate to make that happen again in Week 17, and we know by now that anything can happen when Rodgers and Co. travel to Detroit in Week 18. They'll be dealing with another desperate team before that.
As for the Cowboys? They drew a Washington team in Week 16. In week 17 they draw an Arizona team that appears to be collapsing. It's possible that a win in Philly in Week 18 will get Dallas a first-round bye.

The Vikings, Saints and Eagles are all tied for the final wild-card spot with 7-7 records. The 49ers can still make the playoffs if they hit a hiccup down the stretch, but it's likely that Minnesota, New Orleans or Philadelphia will make the playoffs, while the other two will not.
It's hard to not give the edge to the Saints right now. They might no longer be able to rely on Drew Brees in moments like these, but Sean Payton remains on the sideline and the league's sixth-ranked scoring defense has made back-to-back statements to save their season.
They have a slight advantage over Minnesota and Philly because of the way they shut out Tom Brady and the rest of the team in prime time. The schedule is favorable moving forward.
While the Vikings still have to play the Rams and Packers, and the Eagles have to travel to Washington and face Dallas, New Orleans finishes with three opponents who are at or below.500. The Superdome has two of those tilts.
This year might have been the end of an era in New Orleans, but don't be surprised if the Saints sneak into the playoffs again.
