Dylan Larkin gives fan $20 to make up for spilled beer

Beer is one of the most important things in life. People are so desperate to get the smallest of buzzes that they will drop Andrew Jackson on some watered-down alcohol. It would be an absolute tragedy if that beer was spilled. When a fan spilled his beer into a man and his date during a pre-game warm-up, Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin tried to get the man his money back.

He did not have to. The fans pay for the entertainment that is provided by Larkin. One of the most historic franchises in American sports is led by him. Fans spill their concessions all the time. It happens more often in baseball games when fans rush to catch foul balls in their vicinity, but it happens more often at other events as well. He had no obligation to pay the man the money he lost, yet his conscience wouldn't let him walk away.

The captain title was taken to a whole new level by Larkin. He is looking out for everyone who walks in Little Caesars Arena. When he hurts someone, he needs to make up for it.

I have never met his parents, but they raised him right. What a great guy! It is not the only person who has been making up for a spilled beer. Gary Payton II was mic'd up for his team's game against the Indiana Pacers a little more than a week ago.
