Reading have signed Sanne Troelsgaard Nielsen on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The Swedish player has been at the club for the last four years and has won the country's top league title in two of the last three seasons.
Troelsgaard Nielsen scored 55 international goals.
"Sanne is a great addition to the club," Kelly Chambers said. She has experience in the women's game at international and champion league level.
She wants to be a part of this growing group and make an impact in the league.
The Royals could make their debut with Troelsgaard Nielsen in the Women's Super League on January 9.
Reading have a five- match winning streak.
Chambers said he was excited for her to be a part of the team.
