According to local authorities, Smith was arrested in Indiana for raping and brutally attacking a 16-year-old girl.
Smith was arrested last week in Cook County Illinois on multiple charges, including rape, sexual battery and two counts of criminal confinement.
The unnamed teen told cops she was kidnapped out of her room in July after going to visit family members in Indiana. She initially said that she gave the address of the home where she was staying to someone who was selling a cat.
The alleged victim told police that a man ripped open her bedroom window screen, threw her out of the room, and raped her. She said she sneaked out to meet the alleged attacker because she was linked to him on a dating app.
She says she had a bad feeling when she met him in the truck, and that he forced her to perform oral sex, slap and choke her, and urinate on her in the motel room.
He allegedly told her he'd be back the next night to pick her up. The family was out front looking for her when they pulled into her neighborhood, and as soon as they saw the truck, they all gave chase.
The alleged victim was able to escape, but the witnesses got enough info on the vehicle to relay to the cops, who pinned it to Smith, who had appeared on the MTV show back in 2015.
The teen was in a photo lineup. He appeared to have traveled from Illinois to commit the crimes. He is in handcuffs and waiting for his return to Indiana.
