The Georgetown and Providence men's basketball game was canceled on Wednesday, the third cancellation this season, due to concerns over COVID-19.
The game will be forfeited because of issues within the Georgetown program, and Providence will get the win.
The game between the Pirates and St. John's was canceled last week because of issues with the Pirates. On Monday, Seton Hall won over DePaul for the same reasons.
The Big East policy states that teams without enough players must give up. The team that had to give up a win is given a loss in the conference.
Georgetown forfeited its game against TCU on Saturday and will be 6-6) overall. Providence is 12-1 and 2-0 in league play.
