Bill Gates says he's canceled his holiday plans due to Omicron, but he believes the wave will be over by March

Bill Gates said he has canceled most holiday plans due to the Omicron variant.
"Just when it seemed like life would return to normal, we could be entering the worst part of the Pandemic," Gates said as he kicked off a thread about the variant.
Omicron will be with us. He said that he had canceled most of his holiday plans because of his friends having it.
The billionaire believes that the current wave of the coronaviruses will be over by March of next year.

Gates thinks we could get out of this wave in three months.
He said that if we take the right steps, the epidemic can be over in 2022, despite the few months that could be bad.
Gates predicted that Omicron will be in every country in the world.
Gates said that they need to take it seriously until they know more about the variant.

He said it will be the worst surge we have seen so far because it's so infectious.
He encouraged his followers to look out for each other by wearing masks, avoiding large indoor crowds, and getting the vaccine and booster shots.
Someday, the pandemic will end and the better we look after each other, the sooner that time will come.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Omicron variant makes up nearly three-quarters of new cases.

Bill Gates is on December 21, 2021.
