The majority of the money will be used to cover security expenses because of the grave risk they face from the sheikh.

Sheikh Mohammed will have to make an upfront payment of over $300 million to Haya within three months to cover the costs of her mansions and jewelry in the U.K.

Provisions for holidays, the maintenance of various ponies and pets, and the salaries for a nurse and nanny are included in the settlement.

According to CNN, the total value of the settlement is not fixed, as the court said Mohammed should pay the security costs for his two children with Haya every year of their lives or until another court order is issued.

A total of £70 million. Haya's lawyer says that the amount of legal fees has been spent since the beginning of the process.

Mohammed is the prime minister and vice president of the United Arab Emirates, while Haya is the half-sister of Jordan's King Abdullah. The two married in 2004 and have two children. Haya fled to the United Kingdom fearing for her safety after a lengthy court battle. Judges have found that Mohammed subjected his former spouse to a campaign of intimidation, including using spyware to hack into and monitor her phone and staff, and abducting two of her daughters from a previous marriage. Mohammed's lawyer said that Haya's demands were excessive and that she was using her children to pay off her former security team who blackmailed her. Haya said she was terrified after a phone conversation with Mohammed about the affair, and a poem he published titled "You lived, You died" was assumed to threaten the princess.

Surprising fact.

In court, it was revealed that the couple spent over two million dollars on strawberries in a single summer.

There is a structure called the Tangent.

The amount of Tuesday's settlement pales in comparison to other recent divorce settlements of the ultra-wealthy. Jeff Bezos and his ex- wife, MacKenzie Scott, reached a record $35 billion agreement.

The princess, the sheikh and the divorce settlement were mentioned.
