Final Surviving Dog From Michael Vick Dogfighting Case Dies At 15

The BADRAP animal rescue organization confirmed on Monday that the last dog from the dogfighting ring has died.

The pup was younger than 15 years old.

According to BADRAP, Frodo was one of 48 dogs that were saved after the dogfighting ring was broken up by law enforcement.

The org says that after the former football player's arrest, Frodo found a new home and spent the last 14 years being pampered like a prince.

The dog had one last steak before he passed away.

Two other dogs from the case have died recently, according to officials at the org.

As we previously reported, Michael was released from the Atlanta Falcons and spent time behind bars for his role in the case.

The ex-quarterback apologized and went on to start for the Philadelphia Eagles.

He advocated at the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to pass a bill to allow cops to rescue pets from hot cars.

After the 2015 season, he left the NFL and now works as an analyst for FOX.
