LA Clippers star swingman Paul George said he felt good in his first game back after hurting his elbow.

George said he has to see how his elbow feels on Tuesday morning after it took a few shots and a couple stingers during the Clippers' 116-92 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.

After missing five games, George put up a good stat line, finishing with 25 points, 6 rebound and 6 assists. George wasn't sure if his injury would force him to miss more games or require maintenance.

George said it took some hits today. We don't know if it will be sore or not tomorrow. See how it feels in the morning.

George hadn't played since December 6. The Clippers play at Sacramento on Wednesday hoping their star player is still active.

The Clippers have dealt with injuries all season. Leonard has yet to play. Reggie Jackson is playing through a quad injury, while Marcus Morris is out with health and safety protocols.

The Clippers looked like they needed to adjust to having George back after they allowed the Spurs to get up 114 shots and grab 23 offensive rebound.

The 114 shot attempts were the most in a Spurs game since 1997 and the offensive rebound was the most in a decade.

"I don't know if I've ever seen that before," he said of the Spurs' total field goal attempts. It was a layup drill, a floater drill and a walk in the park. If we don't look in the mirror and come back with a physical presence on Wednesday night, it will be the same result.
