Kelce was placed on the reserve list.

Kelce has a chance to return in time for the Chiefs' next game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, if he's vaccine-vaccinated.

The kicker and the CB were placed on the COVID list.

A total of 47 players were placed on the list after positive tests. That is the most the league has had in a single day.

Fry was signed to the active roster from the practice squad as an insurance policy in case Butker can't go.

Kelce was named to play in the Pro Bowl for the seventh year in a row. Kelce leads the tight ends in receiving yards. He is second in catches and fourth in touchdown. Kelce has had a 1,000-yard season for six years in a row.

The biggest statistical game of Kelce's career was in the overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers. He caught 10 passes for a career-high 191 yards and two touchdown, including the game winner in the extra period.

The Chiefs have two other tight ends on their active roster. Bell and Gray have caught nine passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.

Chris Jones, Willie Gay and Josh Gordon were placed on the COVID list last week, and they missed the game against the Bolts.
