You can find EV charging stations just as easily as you would a gas station with the help of Waze. If you prefer the navigation app, you can search for charging stations along your route, which should make finding a place to juice up your EV a bit easier.

Volkswagen is partnering with Waze. You can switch your car icon within the app to Volkswagen's all-electric ID 4 SUV in case you're tired of pollution.
This may give the navigation app a boost, as it needs to catch up with the more mainstream counterpart, which has EV charging stations. You can use the filters on the maps to find the EV charging stations that are right for you, as well as see which stations are currently in use.
It is worth mentioning that Apple Maps has a feature that lets you plan your route around EV charging stations. If your vehicle is compatible with the app, Apple Maps will add compatible charging stations to your route if your charge gets too low.
