Customers will have to show they have been vaccinations in order to enter indoor spaces like restaurants, bars, movie theaters, museums, bowling alleys, indoor pools and sports stadiums.
Patrons over the age of 12 will be required to show they have received at least one dose of a coronaviruses vaccine, and one month later in February, they must show they have been fully vaccined.
The city of Boston will require children older than 5 to be fully vaccineed in May.
The new vaccine mandate for the city's more than 18,000 workers requires them to have their vaccinations by Feb. 15, unless they have a medical or religious exemption.

The Globe reported that positive coronaviruses tests have jumped by 89% in just two weeks, while hospitalizations have increased by two-thirds. Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco and New Orleans have all mandated that patrons of indoor establishments get a vaccine.
