Nick Mullens will start at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns against the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday, according to a source.
John Johnson III was activated Monday morning, and he was one of the key defenders. Cleveland will enter the Raiders game with 22 players still on the list, including 10 starters. The only other player expected to be activated before the 2 p.m. is the one who is currently on the inactive list. A source told ESPN that the deadline was at 10:00 pm.
Cleveland is also planning to be without its head coach after he tested positive for the virus. Sources told Russini that the team is waiting for more results after they tested out the protocols.
The news that the protocols were not clear was first reported by the NFL Network.
The Raiders game was moved to Monday at 5 p.m. because of the Cleveland outbreak. The time is later.
On Sunday, the Browns got back guard. They will be without several other key players against Las Vegas.
