The Dallas Cowboys are in good spirits after their win over the New York Giants.

After the game, it was revealed that a bet was made between the quarterback and the defensive end for the rest of the season for a touchdown against the defense. The Cowboys defense is in the lead after four turnovers against the Giants.

Lawrence bet that the D would get more turnovers than the offense.

The defense is kicking our ass after 4 turnovers and 2 scores.

"They obviously won this one, but we'll make sure it continues," he said. They're getting the ball. It's impressive that front seven's are attacking and the back end is getting their hands on balls. It's great to be a part of it.

The defense had three turnovers in the win. It's the team's longest streak of at least four turnovers since 1994. It was the fifth time in the last six games that the defense has held an opponent to less than 20 points.

The Cowboys have 31 turnovers this season, their most since 2014, thanks to the 10th pick up by Trevon Diggs. The team's 23 picks is their most since 1999.

The team's other score was scored by running back Ezekiel Elliott. Jerry Jones said he likes the friendly wagering within the team, as it reminds him of an old-school mentality.

Jones said that he loved that. I've seen some of the most productive growth in teams when they've been doing a little gambling. The defense and the offense used to bet $50,000 a practice on two-minute drills as to who would win.

He would be fine with the offense losing the bet.

"We'll catch up, this thing is ongoing," he said. Hopefully not. I hope they keep rolling them, because I hope we don't catch up.

The Cowboys will play the Washington Football Team next Sunday.
