SpaceX launches two missions in one day, setting new record

A new record for the shortest interval between launches has been set by the company. The Turksat 5B mission was launched on December 18 from Cape Canaveral.

You can watch the launch using the video above, and it was successful in catching the rocket's first stage using one of its drones.

On Saturday, December 18 at 10:58 p.m. The Turksat 5B mission was launched from the Space Launch Complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. This booster was used for the previous launches of Crew-3 andCRS-22.

The launch of the Turksat 5B satellite was captured on film by the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship, and was shared on the account of the company.

Turksat 5B will be used for both military and commercial purposes. It will be in use for at least the next 15 years.

This was in addition to the Starlink launch that was performed yesterday. 52 new satellites were added to the Starlink constellation after that mission launched early in the morning.

The shortest time between two Falcon 9 launches is 15 hours and 17 minutes, setting a new record for the company. The previous record was 44 hours between Falcon 9 launches.

In the run-up to Christmas, this isn't the only thing for the company. The company will make one more launch of the Falcon 9 on Tuesday, December 21.
