Denver Broncos QB Teddy Bridgewater leaves game on stretcher with head injury, taken to hospital as precaution

Teddy Bridgewater was taken off the field on a stretcher in the third quarter of the Broncos' game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

He was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation as a precautionary measure, and the team says he has movement in all of his limbs.

The Broncos were facing second-and-5 from their own 30-yard line when the injury occurred. He did not move after landing on the field.

The medical staff of the Broncos strapped him to a backboard as they held his head motionless.

All 14 of the Broncos' games this season have been started by quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. He left Denver's loss to the Baltimore Ravens at halftime with a concussion.

Drew Lock was the new quarterback. The Broncos were behind the Bengals 9-3 at the time of the injury.
