The hospital and surgeon messed up the life of Trevor Noah.
Noah says in the lawsuit that the defendants were careless in failing to treat and care for him after he went under the knife.
Noah's complaint focuses on both the surgery and the follow up. The suit claims that the defendants did not "discontinue certain prescription medications" and that the medications themselves were improper.
The surgery was a disaster, from improper diagnosis, to the surgery itself and the post-operation care. Had Noah been informed of the risks, he would have refused treatment.
The host of "The Daily Show" says he suffered serious personal injury and the damage is permanent.
He "suffered a loss of enjoyment for life" because of his claim of malpractice, it alleges.
Dr. Williams performs knee, shoulder and elbow surgery. The lawsuit doesn't claim the doctor messed up the surgery, but instead it claims the doctor left after the surgery.
Noah is seeking damages.
The suit was meritless according to a rep for the hospital.
