Sources told Adrian Wojnarowski that the minimum eight players will not be available for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Hawks because of the five Cleveland players who tested positive for COVID-19.
Sources said that the NBA has health and safety protocols for players.

According to league sources, the NBA and National Basketball Players Association were discussing a plan that would require teams decimated by COVID-19 to sign additional replacement players to avoid games being postponed.
League sources said that after the first case of COVID-19, a team would be allowed to add a 10-day player. The new plan would require teams to maintain enough depth so that the NBA wouldn't have to cancel or postpone games if teams didn't have enough healthy players.
