So Cool: Singapore Airlines & Tocco Toscano Collaboration

I would rather spend money on experiences than on material things.

Life vests and seatbelts are reuses by Singapore Airlines.

Singapore Airlines and fashion label Tocco Toscano collaborated to give new life to life vests and seatbelt buckles from retired Singapore Airlines commercial aircraft. The items are made from apple leather, which is recycled into something else.

You can buy everything from a wallet to a mobile phone bag with this limited edition collaboration. You can either buy the bundle or the whole thing.

The Singapore Airlines project is an upcycling project.

If you place an order of 100 or more, you can get free standard shipping globally. It will take up to 35 days for standard shipping outside of Singapore, so don't expect it to arrive in time for Christmas.

There is a marketing video about the collaboration.

The video is titled "watch?"

I am tempted to buy something.

I don't know how many items I would use if I bought the entire set for that price.

The Singapore Airlines coasters could be used more. The prices are interesting.

One coaster costs 37 dollars.
The coasters cost 46 SGD.
The coasters cost 56 Singapore dollars.

If you want to buy more than one coaster, you should buy in bundles of four because of the low pricing. You should pick up two sets so that you can get free shipping. I could see myself picking up three or four seats, since I really love these, they are limited edition, and therefore can't be replaced in the future.

I love the idea behind the project, and the coasters are ridiculously cool, even though they are not cheap.

The bottom line.

Aviation enthusiasts will love the collaboration between Singapore Airlines and Tocco Toscano. Life vests and seatbelts from retired aircraft can be used to make coasters, wallets, and other cool items. I don't think cooler coasters exist, so I'm going to pick up some coasters here.

What do you think about this collaboration, and what do you plan to do with it?
