The Lakers fans enjoyed one of their better moments of the season on Friday night as they were able to watch the game on the internet despite a carriage dispute.
College football fans were not so lucky, as the Lakers were in the middle of getting thrashed by the Wolves, and they were not able to watch the end. A lot of people didn't get to see the dramatic semifinal between North Dakota State and James Madison, but the Bison came out on top with a 20-14 win.
The game ended with the same score as when it went off the air, and people now have access to an entire internet to keep up with a game they can't watch. That is progress since the game.
The good news for the Lakers is that Friday night won't be remembered as anything that anyone talks about 50 years from now. As someone who doesn't have TV, the Lakers should hope so, because LA getting blown out was pretty much all that was left of live TV sports for the evening, and that was ugly.
The knee injury that forced Anthony Davis out of the game was early signs of a problem.
That is cool.
Crawford had been recruited to LSU by Mickey Joseph, who was going to become the Cornhuskers' wide receiver coach, so he decided to head to Lincoln, too.
