Williams beat Gore by a split decision.

Frank Gore was defeated by Deron Williams with a four-round split decision.

The Florida State Boxing Commission switched the boxing match between former NBA All-Star guard Deron Williams and former NFL running back Frank Gore to an exhibition on Friday.

It was a legitimate and entertaining fight.

Williams defeated Gore in a split decision. NBA players have a stigma of being soft, according to Williams. He did a good job against Gore.

The bout was held at 215 pounds. The exhibition was ruled an exhibition by the commission when it was originally scheduled to be a pro fight. The bout won't count on either man's pro boxing record.

The full recap can be found here.

Frank Gore had the crowd cheering from the beginning, when he walked into the arena, when he walked to the ring, and when he was introduced.

Gore, one of the best running backs in NFL history, looked for a little while like he could fight. He and his opponent, former NBA All-Star Deron Williams, had a four-round exhibition that Williams won by split decision.

The referee stopped the fight in the middle of the second round after Williams pushed Gore into the ropes. Gore did the same thing to Williams. It was a fight between two guys who didn't seem particularly skilled in boxing but wanted to fight.

Give them credit. It was enjoyable. Gore and Williams were aggressive. It's difficult to jump into a boxing ring. Gore and Williams did better than Robinson, but the bar was very low and the gloves were heavier. Robinson was able to say that there were punches connected when he barely fought Jake Paul.

There is a reality about this too. This was a one-off fight. It was compelling and different. The first round had some interest. The third round felt more like a victory, with some wild punches thrown in. This was not a good fight to put on again.

It was enjoyable for a few rounds. After that, it looked like two guys heading toward middle age, Williams is 37 and Gore is 38, who did something fun one time that probably doesn't need to happen many more times.

Serrano sets a fight with Taylor.

The lightweight bout was won by Serrano by a unanimous decision.

She did what she needed to do on Saturday night. She took care of her last opponent in 2021, which could be her last opponent before a potential megafight against undisputed championKatie Taylor.

She sent a clear message that she remains one of the best fighters in the world by winning a unanimous decision over her opponent.

Serrano gained weight for the fight, hiring a nutritionist for the first time, and eating carrots, among her less favorite foods, to prepare for the fight. She sparred with fighters who weighed more than 135 pounds, in order to prepare for her opponent.

Here is the full recap from Michael Rothstein.

It's all clear now after the fight. Before the fight, Serrano knew that Taylor had handled her part. She could start looking more at hers if she took care of her husband.

Serrano can now only focus on the possibility of facing Taylor in a fight that could be considered the best fight in women's boxing history, a game-changing, history-making fight.

Both fighters want to face each other. Jake Paul, one of Serrano's promoter, said he is seeking a seven-figure pay day. It could happen at the Madison Square Garden.

Serrano showed she is the most devastating fighter in women's boxing, a machine who has no off button, who continually delivers punch after punch, combination after combination.

She's never faced a fighter like Taylor, but in 2022, thanks to a dominant performance Saturday and a crowd inside the arena that cheered her, the boxing world may just find out.

Paro's power punches accounted for 42% of his total punches, according to CompuBox.

Taylor was defeated in a battle of MMA fighters.

The judges' decision didn't sit well with Chris Avila when he fought Anthony Taylor. The scores went his way.

The majority decision was in favor of Avila in the later part of the eight-round match. Avila is affiliated with the team. Taylor is a sparring partner of Jake Paul and a training partner of A.J. McKee.

Taylor had success with hard combinations when he went to the body early. Taylor started to run out of steam, and Avila came on, in typical Team Diaz fashion. In the fifth round, he went to the body. He hit Taylor with a hook. In the sixth and seventh there was more of that.

In the eighth, he had his best round, wobbling Taylor with a right hand and following with a flurry. Taylor was 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217 800-273-3217
