Trip Report: SriLankan Airlines Business Class

I flew from Thailand to Singapore and then on to SriLankan Airlines. This is a report on my flight experience with SriLankan Airlines.

Many shops and lounges are closed at the airport and the airport was very quiet.

The lounge is at the airport.

The Miracle Lounge is available for SriLankan Airlines Business Class passengers. The lounge had a decent amount of food and beverage offerings, but I didn't eat because I was fighting food at SriLankan Airlines.

The E Pier seems to be dead and no flights are taking place.

The city of Bangkok to the island of Srilanka.

The flight from Thailand to Srilanka is operated by an A321. The flight took three hours. SriLankan Airlines is short of aircraft and only operates two flights a week.

I received a warm welcome when I boarded the flight.

There are 16 recliner seats in Business Class. The recline is quite deep and the legroom is quite decent. My seat padding was almost gone and I felt the "bone" of the seat under the cover.

I reclined in the last row of four because I wanted to not interrupt anyone.

I hope SriLankan Airlines catches up with the latest product because more airlines are changing seats to flatbed on narrowbody airplanes.

There were no sanitary kits on board.

Chicken biryani or a vegetarian option was the only choice for a full lunch. There was no menu presented.

Chicken Biryani is a one tray lunch.

A full tray of lunch is available with a choice of chicken curry or vegetarian.

The flight was calm. We landed on time with some clouds in the sky. You can see the landing on my video.

The lounge is located in the city of Colombo.

I used the lounge of SriLankan Airlines when I transited. The lounge is very old and has a lot of food. It hasn't changed in the last 10 years.

The lounge has a spa that is closed.

There is a rest area of SriLankan Airlines.

The city of Colombo is going to be in the United Arab Emirates.

SriLankan Airlines had a new A330-300 with individual Business Class seating.

Many passengers were returning from a long weekend in the United States. There is a menu on the plane.

The food was easy to prepare. The salad and dessert didn't feel like Business Class. The barramundi fish had a strong taste.

I ordered a cup of tea from SriLankan Airlines.

SriLankan Airlines offer free wi-fi on their A330-300 aircraft, but the price is high and there are restrictions on download limits.

You can see the landing footage on my video. We arrived on time.
