Denver Harris, an athlete on the ESPN 300, committed to Texas A&M on Saturday.

Harris chose Texas A&M over Alabama, LSU and Texas. He's a defensive back from North Shore High School in Houston, and is ranked as the fourth-best recruit in Texas.

The first day of the early signing period saw the Aggies take the No. 1 class ranking and Harris help keep them there. Texas A&M now has five commitments in the top 40, nine in the top 50 and 17 in the top 150, with Harris on board.

Walter Nolen, Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy, and Evan Stewart are the five-stars of the class.

Jimbo Fisher and his staff have a strong class and there is potential to add even more big names. Harold Perkins will announce his decision on January 2. Shemar Stewart, a five-star defensive end, is considering Texas A&M and will make his decision in February.

Fisher will have commitments from three of the top four recruits if Stewart picks the Aggies. He has a chance at landing Mathews, who is ranked 47.

Texas A&M now has 20 commitments and 26 total commitments.

The Aggies will play Wake Forest in the Gator Bowl on December 31st after finishing the season with an 8-4 record.
