The starting left fielder for the Vikings this season seemed to address the decision on his social media accounts.
The person is Bashaud Breeland.

Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer said earlier in the day that he was questionable for Monday's game against the Bears because of a personal matter.
According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, Breeland took off his cleats and got into a fight with his teammates at practice, before being cut.
After two seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Minnesota Vikings signed Breeland to a one-year contract in June.
When he signed, he was supposed to have a positive impact on the Vikings secondary. He was fourth in the team with five passes defensed and tied for the team lead with two picks.
According to Eric Thompson of the Daily Norseman, Breeland is ranked 117th in coverage grade this season.
A fourth-round pick in the 2014 NFL draft, Breeland spent the first four seasons of his career with the Washington Football Team. He played one year with the Packers.
Pass defense has been an issue for the Vikings. They are allowing the fourth-most touchdown passes and are allowing the seventh-most passing yards per game.
The Vikings are tied with four other teams vying for the final playoff spot in theNFC.
