The statement was released by OSHA after a federal appeals court reversed a decision blocking the Biden administration's order for private employers with 100 or more employees to get vaccinations against Covid-19.

Unvaccinated workers are required to keep their masks on indoors.

The rule does not apply to employees who work remotely or outside who do not need to be in close contact with other people.

According to a poll, just over half of working Americans support vaccine mandates, but the degree of support varies depending on party affiliation, vaccination status and age.

The rule faces lawsuits from businesses and GOP-led states that are against it, while companies like Boeing, Disney and General Electric have moved to suspend vaccine requirements.

The attorney general of Missouri asked the Supreme Court to stop the vaccine mandate on private employers. He said that it was destined to go to the nation's highest court. The National Retail Federation said in a statement that it was disappointed in the ruling and would consider more legal options.

The vaccine-or-test rule was temporarily blocked by a different court in November. The rule was supposed to take effect on January 4. The state legislature in Florida has made vaccine mandates illegal. Legislation banning private employers, government entities and schools from imposing vaccine mandates was signed last month by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. Small businesses that violate the law are subject to a fine of $10,000 per employee violation and $50,000 per employee violation for companies with more than 100 workers.
The number is big.

250,000. The New York Times reported that the administration expects the vaccine-or-test rule to prevent many hospitalizations. 22 million people are expected to receive Covid vaccines as a result of the rule.

Penalties for OSHA vaccine mandate will start on January 10.

The Biden shot-or-test enforcement will start in January.

The appeals court restored Biden's vaccine-or-test mandate for large employers.

The Washington Post reported that Boeing and other major federal contractors have dropped vaccine mandates.
