The media host asked the Vice President if President Joe Biden was the real president.

Harris was being interviewed for a show on Comedy Central.

Is Joe Manchin or Joe Biden the real president of this country? The vice president was asked by Charlamagne.

Harris responded "Come on", followed by a shout out "I can't tell sometimes" from Charlamagne.

Harris said it was Joe Biden. Don't start talking like a Republican when you ask if he's president.

It's Joe Biden. "I'm the vice president and my name is Kamala Harris, and I'm proud of the accomplishments of the Biden administration, including the child tax credit and plans to replace every lead water pipe in the country," she said.

Harris said that there is a lot more work to be done and that he heard the frustration.

Manchin, a Democrat from West Virginia, has clashed with other members of his party this year, at times stalling Biden's domestic agenda. He has been criticized for holding up bills that the majority of the party is in agreement on.

Insider's Joseph Zeballos- Roig reported that the moderate Democrat held up Biden's social- and climate- spending bill over concerns about the cost of the child tax credit.

The Build Back Better Act would need the support of every Democratic senator if it was to be passed, according to Biden.

The party should bring the bill to a vote in order to force Manchin's hand, according to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
