"So far all is in good shape, but want to take another image," a source told Dave McMenamin.

He missed two games due to left knee inflammation. The Lakers coach told reporters that he had an abortion and that it showed no structural damage.
He was limited to 36 games in the 2020-21 season due to a calf injury, but this year has been a bounce-back, with his lowest average since his second year in the league. His 7.9 rebound per game and 49.1 percent shooting from the field were the worst numbers he had ever recorded.

Davis was shooting 52.0 percent from the field and had averaged 23.8 points, 10.2 rebound, 1.2 steals, and 2.1 blocks a night. He's shot a measly 18.2 percent from three this season.
If Davis misses time, the Lakers will have to make changes to their rotation, which has recently been thrown into turmoil with several players in the NBA's health and safety protocols.
There will be more time at power forward in that scenario.
