I am a buggy.

A new concept vehicle has come to steal my heart from a company I have never heard of before, after pining after the evil EV retro concept fromHyundai. The Citron My Ami Buggy is a tiny battery-powered vehicle that looks like a smart car, and is great for backpacking, mountain-biking, or any number of fun weekend activities.
The buggy is designed to be playful, something that every child from the age of 14 to 77 would want to add to their Christmas list, according to the press release. The roof-mounted spare tire is reminiscent of a beret. I see it as a bulked-up version of a John Deere utility truck.
There are so many fun details, like the light bar and mirror, that would look great on a bike. The image is of Citron.
The My Ami can fit some color-matched luggage from Citron. The image is of Citron.
The car has many words to describe it, including the design, the badges, and the color scheme. If I had any hope of this car becoming an actual thing you could buy, I would recommend reading all of it, but you would mostly get the vibe by watching the minute-long demo reel the company made for it.
The My Ami Buggy has a top speed of 28 mph and a range of just over 40 miles. Maybe there is hope that I will get a buggy after all, because that vehicle started out as a concept.
The Ami seems to be made to be rented out for short periods of time like a Lime scooter, rather than something you would want to take on a road trip with. If you make a buggy, I want to see someone send it up a sand dune to prove that they don't need a pickup.
It is fun to think of all the small adventures you could have with this sort of thing. How would you get it to the great outdoors without stops? That is a better question for Mondays. It is the weekend, and we are dreaming of driving down to the river with some inflatable tubes in the back of the buggy, or cutting down our Christmas tree to the top.
As far as I know, the name My Ami is not a pun on Miami. Please let me know if you have information that is not true.
