The Los Angeles Lakers have announced that guard Russell Westbrook is available to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.

Sources told Adrian Wojnarowski that Westbrook flew from Dallas to Minneapolis after the testing.

Following the Lakers' road win against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, they placed him in the health and safety protocols. A player has to return two negative tests in 24 hours to be cleared from the protocols.

The team said that health and safety protocols would prevent them from having Bradley, Horton-Tucker and Howard for the game.

Monk was cleared to fly from Los Angeles to Minneapolis to join the team. He was not cleared to play, according to sources.

The Lakers announced that Nunn, who has been out all season with a bone bruise in his knee, also entered the protocols.

L.A. arranged for two-way players Chaundee Brown and Jay Huff to join the team on the road trip, and on Friday it was announced that they will be questionable for the Wolves game. If L.A. runs out of eligible players, Ariza would not go into the game.
