Ghislaine Maxwell will not testify at her own sex abuse trial, as her legal team prepares to rest its case to defend her, as she was accused of grooming and sexually abusing children with the late Jeffrey Epstein.

According to Miami Herald reporter Julie K. Brown, the prosecution has not proven its case beyond a reasonable doubt, so there is no reason for her to testify.

During the defense's arguments, they have called to the stand former employees of Maxwell and Epstein, a memory expert and the ex-lover of one of the women who have accused her, to try to undermine their testimony.

Journalists in the courtroom said that the defense rested its case after the speaker.
