Elon Musk’s Mentor Accused of “Brazen” Embezzlement

The man who gave the first rocketry books to Musk is being sued for allegedly embezzling money to fund his vintage racecar obsession.

The onetime executive of the micro-launch company is being sued as part of the company's bankruptcy filing.

In the motion filed in US Bankruptcy Court, it is alleged that Cantrell used his loyalty to Vector to fund his personal racing hobby and other business ventures unrelated to Vector.

On his website, he states that he was the first VP of Business Development at SpaceX and that he is also the founder of Vintage Exotics Competition Engineering.

In the news for his relationship to Musk, he has been accused of a lot of things. According to its claims, the onetime Vector Launch CEO used more than $2 million in company funds to pay for two of his other companies, as well as private.

The laundry list of items and services that the suit alleges was used for company funds seem more at home in a Wall Street Journal exposé than in a lawsuit against the founder of a space travel startup.

It shows that the world of space travel is full of sleazy characters. If the accusations are true, Cantrell would be in good company.

The creator of Doge coin says he now believes that all cryptocurrencies are bad.
