Baker Mayfield wants the NFL to make up their mind on protocols as the Cleveland Browns' game against the Las Vegas Raiders approaches.

Case Keenum was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday, which is more significant because he was already on the list.

The starter thinks the game has not been postponed so the league can make money while not paying attention to player safety.

Delaying the game would mean caring about player safety and it is happening at a rate that is not sustainable.
To say that you won't test players if they don't have symptoms, then pull this randomly. Doesn't make sense to me.

Tell me if this makes sense. We will have no tests this morning, so we'll have practice and then we'll have to test them. Something seems off here.
A league official suggested there would need to be more positives for the game to be moved or canceled, according to Mike Garafolo.

The following players on the Browns were in the COVID-19 protocols.

The team also announced that head coach Kevin Stefanski and running backs coach Ryan Cordell tested positive.

As the league and the players association agreed to updated health and safety protocols Thursday, the league's top executive called for it to make up its mind. The league said every team will implement preventative measures that have proven effective, which include masks, no in-person meals, and no outside visitors for traveling teams.

When fully vaccined individuals test positive, they are tested every day until they have two negative tests in 24 hours.

The NFL and the NFLPA have agreed to new COVID protocols. The statement was from the league.

Saturday's game is an important one in the wild-card race.

The 6-7 Raiders will remain a factor if they can pick up an important head-to-head win against a fellow contender, as Cleveland is one of five 6-7 teams battling for positioning.
