Cleveland Browns QB Case Keenum tests positive for COVID-19

According to sources, the Cleveland Browns will be without their top two quarterbacks for Saturday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders because Case Keenum has tested positive for carbon dioxide.

The starting quarterback tested positive for the virus earlier this week and is on the reserve/COVID 19 list.

Nick Mullens, who was just added to the active roster Thursday, is in line to start at quarterback for the Cleveland. The San Francisco 49ers drafted Mullens in the first round of the 2020 draft, but he hasn't thrown a pass for the Cleveland Browns.

On Thursday, he practiced for Cleveland.

The players on the list for a faster return could be cleared if the testing requirements are relaxed by the NFL.

The league made up its mind on protocols. Showing up and making only 3 teams test. You can keep the game going so you can make money.

"If you care about player safety, you should delay the game with this continuing at the rate it is." To say that you won't test players if they don't have symptoms is a lie. It doesn't make sense to me.

Delaying the game would mean caring about player safety and it is happening at a rate that is not sustainable.

If you say you won't test if they don't have symptoms, then you'll pull this randomly. Doesn't make sense to me.
