Michigan State's Kenneth Walker III to Skip Peach Bowl to Prepare for 2022 NFL Draft

Kenneth Walker III was a star for Michigan State in the 2021 season.
Walker will skip the Peach Bowl and begin preparing for the NFL draft.

The Spartans head coach posted a farewell message to Walker on the social networking site.

Walker started his college career at Wake Forest. As a freshman, he was the third running back behind Jamie Newman and Cade Carney.
Walker racked up 579 yards on the ground despite only carrying the ball 98 times. He had 579 rushing yards and 13 touchdown in seven games in 2020 and continued to play at a high level.
Walker decided to attend Michigan State after entering the transfer portal. The Spartans had two rushing touchdown in the entire season.
Walker was the best running back in the nation in 2021. He ran for over 1,600 yards and 18 touchdown in 12 games. He was named Big Ten Running Back of the Year.
He finished sixth in the voting for the award. Walker led the offense as the Spartans posted their first 10-win season in two years.

Pitt will play Michigan State in the Peach Bowl on December 30.
