Nations League: England and Wales get tough group-stage draw



England will face Italy and Germany in the group stage of the 2022-23 Nations League, while Wales will play Belgium and the Netherlands.

Wales are in Group A4 which is completed by Poland, while England are in Group A3 which also includes Hungary.

Scotland is in Group B1 with the Republic of Ireland, Armenia and Ukraine.

The tournament starts on June 2, 2022.

Defending champion France is in Group A1 with Austria, Croatia, and Denmark, while neighbours Portugal and Spain are in Group A2 with the Czech Republic and Switzerland.

Group A1: Austria, Croatia, France.

Group A2 includes the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Portugal.

Group A3: Hungary, England, Germany, and Italy.

Group A4 includes Wales, Poland, Netherlands, and Belgium.

Group B1: Ukraine, Scotland, Republic of Ireland.

Group B2 includes Russia, Israel, and Albania.

Group B3 includes Bosnia-Herzegovina, Finland, and Romania.

Group B4 includes Sweden, Norway, Serbia and Slovenia.

Group C1: Turkey, Luxembourg, and the Faroe Islands.

Group C2 includes Northern Ireland, Greece, Kosovo, Cyprus/Estonia.

Group C3 includes Slovakia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, andMoldova.

Group C4: Georgia, Gibraltar, and North Macedonia.

Group D1: Liechtenstein,Moldova, Andorra, and Latvia.

Group D2 includes Cyprus/Estonia, San Marino.

The play-offs will be in March of 2022. The winners will be in League C and thelosers in League D.
