Manchester United can confirm that the fixture against Brighton has been postponed and will be rearranged in the future.
The health of players and staff is our top priority. The Club had no choice but to request the match be rearranged because of the number of players and support staff. The decision to delay was taken by the board based on advice from medical advisers.
Football training will be suspended for a short time at The Carrington Training Complex to help reduce the risk of further transmission.
Fans were disappointed by the postponement.
The games that have been called off so far this week are Manchester United's trip to Brentford,Watford's visit to Burnley, and the home match against Spurs.
The postponement of United's game against the Seagulls came hours after Thomas Frank called on the league to suspend this weekend's games due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
