Nobody is happy about the current state of new consoles. The hunt for a good deal is something we all enjoy, but having to search for a full price product is less fun. We always try to help you score a new console whenever the chance arises, and today is no different.
There is a small window to order one this morning because Target has online listings for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. The Digital Edition of the PS5 is $399.99 and comes with a disc drive. The Xbox Series X is $499.99. The listings show sold out before the early bird so be prepared to hit refresh. Target usually fills its stock of consoles for local store pickup within an hour of the pages going live, and the ones with the most persistence are usually the ones rewarded.
You should log in to your Target account in advance with your account info sorted. You might want to try both the Target mobile app and the desktop browser at the same time. Target often bases their console sales on in-store pickup, so it helps to set your favorite store near you, though be prepared to widen your search if the availability dwindles.
