The home game ofLeicester City is set to be postponed because of Covid-19.
The match would be the fourth top-flight fixture to be called off in the last week.
Brendan Rodgers said on Wednesday that the club asked for the game to be called off because of the number of positive cases in his camp.
This is thought to have triggered conversations about the game.
There were issues with Covid that were expected to keep nine players out of the game against Spurs.
The most recent outbreak of the disease has prompted Thomas Frank to call for this weekend's games to be postponed.
His comments followed the postponements of the games of Manchester United and Brentford, as well as the match between Spurs and Seagulls.
Graham Potter questioned how long football can continue on the path it's on after revealing that the Seagulls wanted their game against Wolves to be postponed.
