The developer has reportedly agreed to pay $1,850,000 to settle an investor lawsuit over the buggy launch of Cyberpunk 2077. It was an instant hit last year with eight million pre-orders and a reported $316 million development budget. A court must approve the settlement.

The shareholders brought the lawsuit because they alleged that the company misled them about financial performance. It's not clear why the settlement was low. CD Projekt's shares have dropped since the game's release, and analysts have lowered their sales forecasts.

CD Projekt has delayed the console updates for Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3 until the first quarter of 2022. The company apologized for the extended wait, but wanted to make it right. The Cyberpunk DLC only added a few items and a car.
