According to Mark Gurman and NBC News, Apple has indefinitely delayed the return of corporate employees. The return-to-work date is yet to be determined, according to an email sent by CEO Tim Cook. According to Gurman, Apple will be giving all employees $1,000 to use for work-from- home needs. The $1,000 bonus will apply to every employee, according to Nick Leahy.

The delay comes as the omicron variant starts to spread. Workers were to return to work on February 1st in a hybrid work pilot. The company has changed its plans in the past.

Apple closed three retail stores this week due to infections. On Tuesday, it began requiring customers to wear masks.

Retail workers will get a $1,000 bonus. We regret the mistake.
