More Broadway Shows Cancel Performances Due To Covid Cases

Ain't Too Proud, a musical based on the singing group The Temptations, canceled Tuesday's performance due to a breakthrough Covid-19 case.

The Mrs. Doubtfire musical was forced to cancel shows on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Lin-Manuel Miranda's improvised hip hop show, called "Freestyle Love Supreme," canceled performances on Saturday and Monday due to multiple breakthrough cases before they were restored on Tuesday night.

The musical Chicago was temporarily shut down for several days in late November before it was reopened on December 7.

Chicken and Biscuits closed early in November due to losses suffered when performances were paused for over a week due to breakthrough cases, and Aladdin was the first show to cancel performances due to Covid-19 in September.
