When you see automotive companies announcing weird robots, you know it's about to happen. The MobED is a four-wheeled robot designed to carry your stuff.
The MobED is a large tray with wheels. The flexible steering angles of theHyundai allow it to get around without losing its cargo in complex situations. It can go as fast as 30 km/h. It's 67 cm long, 60 cm wide, 33 cm high and has a weight of 50 kilogram. When the robot is going fast, the wheelbase can be expanded to 65 cm, and it can be scaled down to 45 cm for low-speed maneuvers in complex environments.
The battery capacity of 2 kWh is good for around 4 hours of driving on a single charge, and the tires are 12-inch pneumatic.
The MobED can carry anything, but its use of examples for what it could be used for is pretty funny. The robot is carrying a bunch of glasses. It's carrying a baby stroller and carrying a digital screen, which could make it useful at airports, museums, galleries, sports venues and similar locations.

The MobED will be on display at the booth at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
