One of the greatest players to have ever played in the English top flight is one of the players who left City for Barcelona in the summer of last year. He was tough, with a deadly ability to score inside or outside the penalty area, and boasted a right-footed shot of brutal power and accuracy. He became the highest- scoring non-English player in the history of the league, with 184 goals compared to Henry's 175. Shearer had 11 hat-tricks in the premier league, but he was overtaken by Aguero who had 12.

"Staggering!" It's just staggering!

The premier league is on May 13, 2019.

There are more records. Henry is second in the league in minutes per goal, with a goal every 122 minutes, but he is not the only one who has scored more than 10 goals. The Argentine scored five goals in a game for the first time in his career in October of last year, and he overtook Wayne Rooney as the top scorer in the league.

Rooney scored more for Manchester United than for City. Henry has scored 20 or more goals in five consecutive seasons. The likes of Henry, Eric Cantona, and evenRonaldo have all earned recognition during the Premier League era, but despite all of the above, Aguero still lacks it.

It is possible that it is because he was happy to live under the radar at City, choosing not to pursue the wider appeal that comes with the commercial branding that Henry, Cantona andRonald were all more than happy to embrace. Maybe he didn't develop the mystique that he has nurtured by choosing when he speaks and who he speaks to. With glossy interviews in Vanity Fair and Time, Salah is guaranteed to be seen by a much wider audience than the sporting world.

During his 10 years at Manchester City,Sergio Aguero won five titles.

Spending their days in red shirts has helped Henry, Cantona,Ronaldo and Salah. Despite the success of City and Chelsea over the past decade-and-a-half, the biggest clubs with the broadest fan bases in English football are still the ones who have the most celebrity players.

Some of the most important players of the Premier League era are not in the same league as Henry, Cantona,Ronaldo, and Rooney, but they are still important players. It is possible that this is the reason why he is not included in the pantheon of greats, even though his records and consistency show he deserves to be.

The man scored goals at a high rate throughout his career.

Until signing for Barcelona this summer, Aguero had not played for a club of his stature. He joined City after winning the Golden Boy award for the most exciting young talent in the game, and spent the next decade at the club.

During a time when Lionel Messi claimed all of the spotlight, for good and bad, Aguero spent 15 years playing for Argentina. When Argentina won the gold medal at the 2016 edition of the Copa America, it was the end of a 28-year wait for international success, but it was also the beginning of a new era for the player who had become a bit-part player.

His summer move to Barcelona was supposed to be the end of his career, as he would play alongside his friend Messi and possibly win the European title that has always been elusive to him at City. Messi left for Paris Saint-Germain before a ball had been kicked, which led to a collapse on and off the pitch, as well as the sack of Ronald Koeman, who failed to reach the knockout phase for the first time since 2003-04.

Four minutes before the half-time break in the October draw against Alaves, when he asked to be taken out because of chest pains, he was already going badly. After just five games for Barcelona and one goal, it is a sad end to a glorious career for Aguero. It's odd to see Barcelona as the venue for his impact in Manchester, with Joan Laporta also scheduled to be present for his announcement, but he only spent a few minutes at the Camp Nou.

If you want to reflect on his greatness, take away the goal against Queens and look at everything else. He was a Manchester City legend, but it overshadowed everything else that should have made him a global star. He should be remembered for more than one crucial goal, as his record is up there with the best.
